Inspired from the classic design of Eileen Gray in the early 1900s. Providing stunning appearance and great comfort, this classic furniture design will provide a fantastic talking point for any home, office or workplace. Eileen Gray based the design on the hugely popular figure of the day the 'Michelin man' and its influence can be clearly seen within this unique design. The visible part of the frame of the Bibendum i.e. the legs, are made of polished stainless steel. The framing of the actual seat is made of beech wood. the seat, back and arm rests are encased in soft, genuine Italian leather. Gray made a point of using plain coverings for this particular chair. The full curves and chunky frame of this classic piece of designer furniture will make it integral to any living room, office, lounge or hotel setting.
